A new app to support Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy

King’s College London has launched a new mindfulness support app, designed to help users incorporate mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) practices into their daily routines. Designed and developed by Digital Marmalade, the app builds on King’s longstanding expertise in mental health and wellbeing.

The app provides users with guided meditations, mindfulness exercises, and tools to track their progress. It is tailored to support individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, and depression by offering scientifically-backed techniques to promote mental resilience.

With its sleek design and user-friendly interface, the app ensures that mindfulness practices are accessible to both beginners and experienced practitioners. Mac users can now seamlessly integrate these practices into their workflow, empowering them to maintain mental clarity and focus throughout the day.

The app is part of King’s broader initiative to make mental health resources widely accessible, leveraging technology to reach individuals in need. This follows the success of similar tools developed for other platforms, reinforcing the university’s commitment to supporting mental health in innovative ways.
